Just the Stories Kind of Ghost Walk
Looking for a spooky good time? Join the Terrell Ghost Walk "stories only" tour for a haunting journey through the downtown business district of Terrell, Texas! This tour is packed with spine-chilling stories shared by local business owners, employees, residents, and civil servants.
What to Expect During This Haunted Tour
Walk about a quarter of a mile along paved roads and sidewalks, listening to tales of the unexplained. You'll get to hear the ghost stories reported at locations like:
- The Terrell Heritage Museum
- Books and Crannies and the Iris Theater
- The Freight Cargo Depot
- Old City Hall
- The Warren Building
- The Anderson Building, formerly known as Hard Bodies
- and the Historic Brin Opera House
During the tour, you'll get a dowsing rod demonstration and can even try out handheld devices like the K2 meter, which senses electromagnetic waves. Many of our guests use some of the more popular ghost hunting apps you can download to your phone. Here are a few of the more popular ones.
The tour runs for about one and a half to two hours, starting at 8:30 PM. Be sure to dress for the weather, as most of the tour is outdoors. You'll also get to briefly visit the inside of one building.
